The morning was spent in different areas in the Social Science building and in the Leong Hall Auditoriuim, where students were grouped according to their batches and assigned specific tasks, from designing their own Pathways Island and re-creating the Pathways logo with recycled materials, to setting goals and identifying their ambitions.

After a delicious snack of assorted breads and iced tea, 192 college students and 48 high school seniors trooped to the Leong Hall Auditorium to listen to the special guest speaker of the day’s GA. Mr. Chris Lowney, author of best-selling book, Heroic Leadership, shared with the group and some guests the four principles that makes a great leader today – self-awareness, ingenuity, heroism and love.

After almost an hour and a half, students and guests were given the chance to ask questions and Mr. Lowney graciously answered taking from his experiences.

It was an eventful day for the Pathways family, bringing together the participants once again and listening to a great man share his experiences to becoming a great leader today.
