Thank you, Pathways Coordinators!

Last February 25, 2010 Pathways gave tribute to a group of people who have tirelessly supported Pathways for the last 5 years. 11 Pathways teacher coordinators from our partner high schools in Marikina and Quezon City were present at the Pathways Coordinator’s Meeting, held at the Social Science Conference Rooms 3 and 4, Ateneo de Manila University. At the intimate gathering, Pathways gave the teacher coordinators updates on their students, and upcoming activities for their high school students. It was also a venue for the Coordinators to talk about their experiences as the liaisons between Pathways and the students.

The highlight of the afternoon was a serenade from volunteers and former students just before snacks were served. While Pathways volunteer Mike Go gave a tear-jerking rendition of You Raise Me Up, Pathways college participants surprised the coordinators with red roses and simple thank you cards signed by Pathways. It truly was heartwarming moment for both the students and the teachers.

The Pathways Coordinators have always played a vital role in Pathways. Because of their dedication and support, Pathways has been able to work more closely with the partner public high schools to bridge more students to quality colleges. They really have nurtured their students and gone the extra mile to make sure that their students excel not just in school but in the Pathways program as well.

Again, Pathways would like to thank the Pathways Coordinators for their unwavering support and commitment to help deserving public high school students fulfill their dream of a college education!
