The very first Pathways Awareness Week (PAW) was inaugurated last June 27 to July 3 which was held in the college grounds of Ateneo, aiming to inform students, faculty, and administrators about Pathways.

In the course of five days, passer-bys had taken notice of Pathways and the activities involved. Volunteers from the Pathways Core Group and the Kaya Kong Kumilos (K3) explain to interested students and administrators the goal of Pathways and the changes it has achieved to help empower the marginalized but deserving students. They gave stories on how Pathways has helped high school public students enter college and continue their studies. At the same time, they shared their own experiences as volunteers, showing that indeed, joining Pathways is a fulfilling endeavor. Brochures and pamphlets were distributed providing a brief backgrounder on Pathways and the groups that help it achieve its mission.

The event was able to garner new volunteers to sign up for Pathways activities, with the hope of helping it achieve its goal much better.
