Pathways alumnus goes to Japan again!

Pathways starts the school year with great news!
LORD ALEC “LA” PASION (ADMU BS Chemistry with Applied Computer Systems 2008 and Pathways Alumnus Batch 3) has been selected as one of the participants in the Asian Youth Fellowship Program.

LA will first undergo a preparatory course in the Japanese language and other subjects for approximately 7 months at the Japan Foundation Japanese Language Institute situated in Osaka, Japan. The AYF preparatory course before entering Japanese Graduate School for Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho) scholarship student is offered by The Japan Foundation.
LA will thereafter be enrolled in a Japanese university as a Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho) scholarship student (Research Student or regular course students) starting April 2011.
The objective of the AYF program is to nurture human resources for the regional cooperation and development of the area, as well as to promote and enhance friendship and mutual understanding among Asian countries.

LA first went to Japan in 2009 to participate in the NAIST-ADMU Internship Program at the Nara Institute of Science and Technology in Osaka. LA graduated from Ateneo de Manila University with degrees in BS Chemistry in 2008 and BS Applied Computer Systems in 2009.
