After a very successful run in the schools of Marikina, Pathways to Higher Education has taken another step forward into bringing the message of Magaling ang Pinoy to even more parents, this time in Quezon City by partnering with the Office of Councilor Jorge “Bolet” Banal and introducing it to Public School Parents in District III, Quezon City.
Now christened the ABaKaDa of the QC B.E.S.T. Parents (Basta Everyday Suportahan Taka!), it was launched last Aug 15, 2008 at the P. Bernardo Elementary School Auditorium. Ms. Maribel Sison-Dionisio and Mr. Boni Dacanay led the talk in front of over 200 PTA officers and parents from schools all over QC’s District III..
From here, volunteers will be chosen and trained by Pathways in order to run the sessions to all parents whose children are in Grades 1-3. The pilot run is in District III schools.
