National Pathways Office

Pathways is not only an organization; it is also a movement. The National Pathways Office aims to facilitate the spread of volunteerism and localized responses to problems relating to access to higher education.
Mobilizing the youth
The National Pathways Office (NPO) is tasked with organizing youth volunteers around the country and to equip them with skills that will help their group assist deserving but marginalized high school students in their areas gain access to quality higher education. The NPO provides a formation program to these volunteers to help them become better leaders.
Institutional linkages and partnerships
Youth volunteers that replicate the Pathways movement usually come from schools as well. The NPO coordinates with higher education institutions where the youth groups are formed as well as with their local government units to create programs and policies in line with Pathways goals.
Information dissemination
In line with spreading Pathways’ vision and initiatives, the NPO also aims to raise the level of consciousness of the youth on sectoral issues and concerns. It provides regular National Educational Situationers to different youth organizations and Pathways’ own volunteer groups.
